Coach Eyewear

New York polish at an approachable price. Domiano Eye Care carries Coach optical frames and sunglasses in Old Forge and Clarks Summit — refined, wearable frames that make sense as an everyday pair.

What defines Coach eyewear?

Coach was founded in 1941 as a family-run leather workshop in a Manhattan loft, and the eyewear still speaks that language: warm tortoise and saddle-brown acetates, burgundy and oxblood, gold-tone hardware, and the house's Signature C or horse-and-carriage emblem set neatly at the temple. Shapes tend to be feminine and flattering — softened squares, gentle cat-eyes, rounded rectangles — with a men's line that is more spare and tailored. It is designer eyewear that doesn't ask you to dress up to wear it.

Coach sunglasses follow the same logic: classic silhouettes, gradient or polarized lenses in tones that suit the frame, and detailing that reads as jewelry without becoming the point.

Who is Coach right for?

Coach is often someone's first designer frame, and it's a good one: recognizable, well made, and typically priced below the European fashion houses. It suits patients who want a polished, put-together look for work and weekends without a frame that announces itself. The women's collection has the broadest range — including sizes that work well on smaller faces — and the men's optical is clean enough to sit under any wardrobe.

  • Softened squares and rectangles — the everyday workhorse; suit most face shapes
  • Cat-eyes — a little lift and a little drama, without going full vintage
  • Rounded metals and combination frames — lighter, more delicate; suit narrower faces

Can I get prescription lenses in Coach frames?

Yes. Coach optical frames are made up with your prescription in single vision, progressive or occupational designs, and most Coach sunglasses can be fitted with prescription sun lenses in the correct tint, polarized if you prefer. Bring a current prescription, or schedule an exam with Dr. Michele L. Domiano, O.D., at either office and we'll take care of the rest.

How does Domiano fit Coach frames?

Our frame specialists in Old Forge and Clarks Summit take your measurements, adjust the bridge and temples so the frame sits level and comfortable, and help you choose lenses to match — high-index for stronger prescriptions, anti-reflective coatings for screen-heavy days, tints for the sunglasses. You're welcome back for adjustments once you've worn the frame for a while.

Frequently asked questions

Does Domiano Eye Care carry Coach glasses?
Yes. We carry Coach optical frames and sunglasses at both our Old Forge and Clarks Summit boutiques. Colors and shapes change through the year, so call ahead if you're looking for a specific style and we'll check what's in stock.
